On Wednesday, December 18th, I had the pleasure of joining other top Miami Foodies, Media & Photographers to an exclusive holiday culinary demo hosted by Chef Lorena Garcia, at the Oasis Suite in the W Hotel South Beach,
On behalf of the California Table Grape Commission (aka Grapes From California), Chef Lorena Garcia showcased easy and delicious appetizers and hors d’oeuvres that are perfect for holiday parties, along with cocktails. After her culinary demo and sampling, she made herself available for photographs and questions. This was a very intimate culinary demonstration & cocktail reception that included tips on healthy holiday eating from the one ingredient that can change everything: California Grapes!
We learned how to add holiday cheer by adding a fresh dash of color, flavor and phytonutrients thanks to red, green, and black grapes. Both holiday dishes and decor were enhanced with the addition of fresh Grapes from California! One of the highlights of the night was learning how to make Baked Brie with Herbed Grapes from California and then tasting the one prepared by Chef Lorena!
