On Saturday , June 28, 2014 Foodies came out to sample dishes at The Kitchen Hop. It was a restaurant crawl experience that took over South Miami Avenue and the Brickell area. Participants bounced from kitchen to kitchen sampling chef selected bites from some of the best restaurants in the area.
Additionally, we enjoyed exclusive drink specials, entertainment, entry/free cocktail to The Kitchen Hop after party held at Blue Martini and much more! Participating restaurants included: Oceanaire, OTC Brickell, Batch Gastropub, Dolores But You Can Call Me Lolita, Toscana Divino, La Gazzetta, Piola, La Mexicana Cantina & Grill, Cinquecento, and more. 10+ Chef selected bites were offered at 10 or more restaurants, $3 Modelo Beers and select cocktail specials from 3-7pm.
Some of the dishes I sampled were: ” Mac Attack” gnocchi mac with aged Gruyere cheese from Batch Gastropub, Croquettes from Dolores But You Can Call Me Lolita, Tuna Tataki from Oceanaire Seafood Room, Chicken Tacos from La Mexicana Brickell , Vintage Chocolate Mousse from La Gazzetta, Rissoto Parmigiano from Toscano Divino, pizza and a variety of Italian bites from Piola, and the best gelato I’ve had outside of Italy from Cinquecento.
