Looking for something to do in Miami that involves art, culture and good food while touring the hipster Wynwood neighborhood? Then Miami Culinary Tours has the answer for you!
For $69 I joined others on a 2.5 hr food tour that serves up both Miami’s diverse food scene and its cutting-edge contemporary culture. Dine your way through 5 favorite local restaurants in one of the largest open-air street art collections in the world! Spend a leisurely afternoon on a culinary adventure in Miami’s trendiest and most vibrant neighborhood at the Wynwood Art District Food Tour.
This tour is offered on Friday or Saturday, Rain or Shine and was voted Five Stars on TripAdvisor for being “fun, educational and full of food tastings that are irresistbly delicious!” So I signed me and my umbrella up !
Miami Culinary Tours: Wynwood has 5 stops. These stops change to keep things fresh. So past guests can always look forward to discovering new local favorites. We met up with our affable and informative tour guide, Mirka. She gave us the background on not only all the restaurant stops on the tour but on the hipster artsy foodie Wynwood neighborhhod itself. We heard interesting stories behind the creation of Wynwood; its history and the people who helped create the largest outdoor museum in the world.
We all agreed on one thing. Miami Culinary Tours is THE best way to spend an afternoon. Rain or shine. Our stops on the tour were: Mmmm Wynwood
All were friendly and had samples of their fare waiting for us when we arrived. At the end of the tour, I was satisified with a full belly and awesome memories. Local or tourist alike, all need to make this tour a must do for your next vacation or staycation!
