In just 30 days, The 13th Annual Celebration Great Grapes! Wine and Food Festival is returning to Town of Cary’s Booth Amphitheatre.
On April 23, 2016 from 11am-7pm come
to North Carolina’s premiere casual NC wine festival with HUNDREDS of wines available. The show has seen hundreds of thousands of happy guests over the years. Take a look here at our coverage of last year’s festival to see how much fun we had and why you should make plans to go!

I want to go because I’ve never been to this event before. My husband and I love wine. In May, we’ll be celebrating our two year wedding anniversary so I’d love to get the celebration started early. 🙂

I did not attend last year but talked to people that did and they had a great time. I am always looking for good wines to buy. This will give the opportunity to eine taste and just enjoy the atmosphere.

I’d love to go to gain a better appreciation for different wines, & hopefully some local wines. I love to cook, so if I can find new wines that would pair well with the foods I cook, then that’d be fantastic. I’d also like to take a close friend to show how much I appreciate her.

Why I want to go?
“Just” because it is a great oportunity to taste great wines and socialize, to relaxe sitting on the grass, enjoying the sun on my skin, and treating the palate with different wine tastes… Does anybody need more reasons to go? It sounds like paradise!!!

I have attended this event for the past four years. This event is awesome and I would not miss it ! Its a great day of fun, relaxation, laughter!!! This is an awesome event and not only does this event provide knowledge on wine tasting, the entertainment totally ROCKS too!! I appreciate this event is also kid friendly and there is an area for the kids to jump and play. Whoever planned this event is a genius!!! My mouth is ready to taste and sip!!! 4/23/2016!

My girlfriends and I have been going together for the past 3 years. It’s a time for us to fellowship, catch up, reconnect, and have some good Ole fashioned fun while sampling some of the best wines North Carolina has to offer without the men or kids!

I wanted to go to this event last year, but I was going through chemo treatment. This would be the perfect way to celebrate “No more treatment”. Sipping wine, enjoying the festivities and relaxing!!

I would love to attend to discover more NC wines. I paid a large price to attend the wine festival in downtown Raleigh & got to taste only 2 wines because of the long lines & poorly executed event in such a small space.

I moved to North Carolina a little under a year ago, and the weekend of this event would be my year anniversary! I am a total wine-o and have completely fallen in love with local NC wines! I would love to spend the day tasting some of the greatest wines around and hopefully trying new ones I’ve never had!

My sister and I attended last year and had so much trying out the local wines and making friends with the volunteers. We even got some local NC swag and bought tshirts. I still have our lanyards that hold the wine glasses I lost my job last year and I have been freelancing so money is tight but I want to make this a yearly sister thing for us. It would also be nice to give her a ticket as a thanks for being so awesome and helpful (and paying the occasional water bill) while me and my daughter have been in this transition. I love wine and I love NC!

I have been coming to this event since its inception. Through beautiful weather and sometimes, sinking in mud. Often those were the most fun..😆. Its a great time for all, great wines, great food, great venue, awesome people. Wow 13th anniversary..Would be interesting to measure the amount of wine that I have consumed there in 13 years…

I love the Wine Festival! I have been the past few years and it is one of my favorite events. Hanging out with friends, enjoying the sunshine in a gorgeous venue, trying out tons of new wine, with lovely live music meandering through the pines. Also, it’s my birthday weekend 🙂

My best friend and I both recently started new jobs so we have not had much girl time lately. We both love to enjoy beautiful outdoor weather with a glass of wine in hand. This would be the perfect opportunity for some girl time and relaxation. We would love a day to unwind and to taste the wonderful wine while enjoying some music and food to go along with it! We are always on the search for new wines to add to our list of favorites!

My parents are currently seperated. Due to this I have been spending more time with my mother in an attempt to better bond with her. One of the tools that we’ve used to do that (as well as to ease our minds) has been good food and great wine. This event would be a great way for us to further both of these objectives. I would love for my husband and I to go with the kiddos. We love wine but don’t get out too much anymore since having the second kid. We used to go to many wine/beer festivals and we are a member of the TURLEY wine cloud still. We need a wine cellar. Lol. Never been to this event but heard it’s wonderful!! 13 years ago, I asked a guy at work that I liked out to go to the 1st Great Grapes Festival. We had so much fun, little did we know that became our 1st date! We returned the next couple of years, as a couple then as a married couple! Now we have a child, and just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary! It all started from our 1st date, at the very first Great Grapes festival! We would LOVE to return to relive our 1st Date & where it all began…

I’ve never been to a wine festival and I heard this was like the best one to go to especially since I am new to North Carolina. Also my fiances family is all going but unfortunately my fiance forgot to buy the tickets when they were on sale so I really do not want to miss out on this fun experience.

I would love to go and take my husband of 18yrs! He’s so hard working and dedicated to our family. He just worked to buy a new house for our family!! He’s the most supportive husband and father! I love food and am a growing wine lover! Events such as these let me taste good food and explore new wines to add to my list. I went several years ago in Cary and it was a great start to learning about different wines. I enjoy the people, the music, the location, the food, and of course the wine. Pick me!!
