I am usually awakened by my three yr old daughter, or South Beachers coming in from a night out but on Wednesday October 15, I took the opportunity to greet the rising sun by experiencing Exhale Spa’s athletic and mindful yoga class. Exhale is the leading lifestyle brand in spa and wellness and known for their custom-created classes geared towards reviving and restoring the mind and body. That was exactly what I needed! 

Exhale South Beach is located at Loews Miami Beach Hotel, 1601 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Fl 33139. I selected their Sunrise Exhale Vinyasa Yoga class, which was held on the outdoor terrace of the St. Moritz Building. It was the perfect location to let the restoration of the ocean and its breeze carry me thru the practice.

Led by Amy Steiner, this class wakes up your body and mind with a fluid yoga practice and breath-based meditation, setting the tone for a great day ahead. Per the website,  www.exhalespa.com ,

This class offers a flowing practice appealing to students who have yoga experience and are comfortable with yoga postures and sun salutations. Exhale Vinyasa Flow integrates breath and movement, inner and outer alignment, and strength and flexibility. Class is accompanied by music for a rejuvenating and balancing effect.

The class was intimate and allowed for the instructor to provide any necessary corrections that were needed. No matter your faith or fitness, yoga is for everybody! I felt very comfortable in the environment and knew I was in good guided hands. Anyone taking a class has the opportunity to use the amenities at Exhale, but alas I had to return to my 3yr old and start our day. But at least I was going into my day with a different perspective and more calming approach thanks to Exhale!
