This race draws inspirational female runners–including a two-time heart attack survivor, a woman running with her twin sister to come back after pneumonia, an amputee, and many others. In fact, since it’s the day before Mother’s Day, many moms and daughters have participated, including one mom running with her 5-year-old, and three best friends running with their three 15–year–olds. at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre

What a fun event! You are so good at keeping up with what’s happening around town!
One of my personal goals has been to run a 5K! I’m going to get there one day and I would love to do it alongside other women like this run.
